In our 5th year of this annual spring tradition, we invite you to join us in celebration of Kirkbride Elementary at A Night Out 2021! This socially distant event welcomes Kirkbride families, supporters, neighbors, and teachers to stroll through our schoolyard bidding on silent auction packages and raffle baskets. There will be pre-recorded performances and delicious grab and go meals featuring local food trucks.
Support from our previous events directly led to the completion of phase 1 of our playground project in Summer 2018, and now we are beginning our design plans for phase 2 which will include a soccer pitch. The Night Out will be a great time for you to become a stakeholder in our playground plans and join the design team!
Tickets for our families are $10. Ticket for community members are $25 in advance online and $35 at the door. We also welcome you to sponsor a Kirkbride teacher to attend for $25.

About Kirkbride Elementary
Eliza B. Kirkbride Elementary is an outstanding K-8 public elementary school located in South Philadelphia. We educate over 550 children in our community, representing more than 30 different ethnicities, and many new immigrants. Over 46% of our students receive services for English as a Second Language, with Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese and Khmer being the primary native languages of our students. Kirkbride is recognized by Pennsylvania as a National Title 1 Distinguished School. We have one of the highest proficiency rates in math and English language arts in the city of Philadelphia. Kirkbride’s mission is to develop, educate, and nurture our children through the collective efforts of the teachers, parents, and community members.
Kirkbride Home and School Association The Kirkbride Home and School Association (HSA) was formed in 2019 by parents and faculty at Kirkbride. The HSA supports the incredible work of Kirkbride’s faculty and staff through active parent involvement and project planning and implementation. To that end, the HSA strives to foster community with our school families, build connections with our neighborhood, and develop partnerships with area businesses and civic associations.
